Listening and discovery
How do I play a station?
Open its profile and press Play. History is recorded only after the stream starts playing successfully.
Why is a station not playing?
The signal may be offline, overloaded, or region-restricted. Try again later or choose a suggested station. Radioplix does not control the original signal.
Can I listen without an account?
Yes. You can browse and play stations without registering. With personalization consent, Radioplix may keep an anonymous history in your browser.
How do recommendations work?
We combine stations you listen to, genres, name keywords, country, and community trends. You can change cookie preferences at any time.
Account, history, and privacy
What is the difference between a listener and a station owner?
Listener accounts provide favorites, history, and ratings. The owner portal is for registering, verifying, and managing stations. They are separate access areas.
Where can I see my history?
When signed in, it appears on Home and in your profile. Without an account, it depends on personalization cookies and browser storage.
Why is a listen missing from history?
Only confirmed playback counts. Connection errors, blocked streams, and attempts that never play are not saved or added to rankings.
How do I change cookies?
Open “Cookie settings” in the footer. Essential cookies are required; preferences and personalization are optional.
Stations and rankings
How is the ranking calculated?
Rankings use confirmed plays and valid activity signals. Stations with persistent errors are excluded from rankings, recommendations, and related stations until they recover.
What are Country Top and World Top?
Country Top shows stations most listened to from your approximate country. World Top combines activity from the whole community. VPNs and network changes can affect the detected country.
How do I register my station?
Select “Register your station” or visit /radio-admin/register. Create an owner account, add the stream, and complete the requested information.
How do I claim an existing station?
Use the owner portal and choose Claim station. We may request domain, social-media, or document verification.
Problems and safety
What if my station information is wrong?
Request a change from your owner dashboard or report the issue from the public profile. Include the URL and a clear explanation.
How do I report copyright or other content?
Send detailed copyright notices to copyright@radioplix.com. For privacy matters email privacy@radioplix.com.
Is signing in safe?
We use sessions, validation, and access controls. Never share passwords, verification codes, or API keys. Contact support if you see unusual activity.
